1. Who we are

Backlink Manager is a backlink monitoring and management platform operated by The Link Hub S.L. ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our website at backlinkmanager.io and our associated services.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at: [email protected].

2. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Account data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a hashed value). If you subscribe to a paid plan, we also collect billing information via our payment processor (Stripe), which handles card data directly — we never store raw payment details.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, backlink portfolios created, and alert configurations. This data is used to improve the product and provide support.

Technical data: We automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers when you access our services. This data is used for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.

Communications: If you contact us via email or the contact form, we retain those communications to respond to your inquiry and improve our support quality.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

· To provide, maintain, and improve the Backlink Manager platform and its features. · To process your subscription and manage your account. · To send you product updates, security alerts, and service-related communications. · To respond to your support requests and inquiries. · To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity. · To comply with our legal obligations under applicable law.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes on third-party platforms.

5. Data sharing and third parties

We share your data with a limited number of trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the platform:

· Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. · Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure and data storage, located in the EU. · Postmark — transactional email delivery (account confirmations, alerts). · Umami Analytics — privacy-first, cookieless analytics. No personal data is shared with Umami.

All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to process data only on our instructions.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

Backlink portfolio data and monitoring history are retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted upon account closure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

· Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. · Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data. · Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten"). · Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format. · Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests. · Restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies. For full details on the cookies we use and how to manage them, please see our Cookie Policy at /cookies.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.

Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
